Danny menyampaikan kegiatan ini sangat menarik. Utamanya karena sejalan dengan program penerintah kita yang mewajibkan setiap inovasi SKPD untuk didigitalisasi.
“Dulu kita Lorong Garden, Lorong Sehat, Badan Usaha Lorong (Bulo). Sekarang kira punya lorong peduli plastik. Kita coba fokus plastik. Ukuran-ukuran plastik menggunakan timbangan digital agar report tentang volume plastik tiap hari itu real time,” kata Danny.
Termasuk kata Danny layanan transaksi digital, tender proyek hingga gaji dan honor pegawai sudah lama berjalan. “Kalau ingin mengecek pencairan suatu proyek misalnya kita bisa buka aplikasi Cek DPta,” tambahnya.
Sehingga produktivitas ekonomi masyarakat dengan tingkat public engagement yang tinggi akan termonitor dari makro hingga mikro.
“Jadi kita bisa mengukur. sense ekonomi kita menjadi lebih peka. Sehingga kita bisa menjaga. Kalau kita tidak punya peta transparan tentang ekonomi kita, kita tidak pernah tahu apakah kita maju atau mundur secara ekonomi,” sebut wali kota berlatar arsitek ini.
Karena itu, Danny menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap Forum Pewarta Ekonomi. Baginya hal ini menjadi tanda, media (jurnalis), menempatkan sebuah produktivitas ekonomi menjadi bagian yang penting bagi kehidupan pemerintahan.
